My Baptism

Last Saturday was a big day for me. I had my baptism in Pennsylvania at the church my mommy grew up going too, by Father Menei who married my mommy and daddy. All of my family came to watch. Thank you to all who made the long day trip to be with me on my special day!

Mommy braided my hair and Uncle Chris put a pretty little flower in it.

I also got to spend some time with my GG...she tells good stories.

A month of Firsts...

I've done a lot of things for the first time this month.

I learned how to clap (really, I was doing it right before mommy took this picture)...

I wore my sailor dress for the first time on my 7 month birthday....

I sat in my rocking chair without mommy or daddy holding me...

I wore big girl shorts...

and a froggy on my head...

and I wore my tutu...

I went swimming in a big bathtub, I mean pool, with Daddy

I really liked it and I even practiced my back stroke (and I keep trying to practice it in my bathtub despite mommy's attempts to make me stop)

Now, some not so new things, but equally exciting....

I played with my friend Kierstin (she's little and I learned that she does NOT like my hand in her mouth)

and my friend Abbey

I went to a restaurant for Father's Day. Hey Dad, can I have some crabs?

Daddy said no. Oh well, better luck next summer.

Catching Up

I know, I know...it's been quite a long time since my last blog, but I'm six months old now and very busy! My biggest accomplishment since my last blog has been my first tooth. Yep, that's right...I now have one sharp little tooth sticking out of my bottom gum and another one getting ready to make an appearance. It has NOT been fun, but I'm dealing with it by chewing on anything I can get in my mouth and that berry flavored stuff that mommy gives me each day called Motrin.

Here are some pictures to better detail what else I have been up to since we chatted last.

I've been getting better at playing on my tummy. People keep putting me in this position so I decided to go with it and it's not bad.

I got a new phone. You'll have to excuse me, I have an important call coming in.

Sorry to disappoint if you're a fan of another team, but thanks to Uncle Chris, I'm a Phillies fan

We went to the zoo with my friends Paige and Blake and their mommy and daddy. It was a lot of fun. I just don't understand why they wanted me to look at all the animals when there were so many people to look at!

I really like Paige and I can't wait to be a big girl like her.
