The Big 1

Birthdays are very fun days. Lots of family and friends come to visit, people sing to you, you get to eat cake AND you get fun treats including balloons, bags with tissue paper and hangers (there were cool toys and clothes along with the bags and hangers, but I really liked the bags and hangers). I want to thank everyone who came to my party and who made my very first birthday such a special day!
Here's how my day went. I woke up and got to lounge in my jammies.

Then I got to open my first present.

Ooh, Wonder Pets!

Then I got dressed in my pretty birthday dress from my Auntie LoLo, and I got a new puzzle.

I lounged some more with Guinness

and then my Nana, Papa and Uncle Josh came and I got to open more presents.

I played with some of my new toys for awhile.

and then I took a little break to read some new books with Nana.

After a quick outfit change into my party clothes, I waited anxiously at the door to see what Daddy was bringing me....

Yeah!!!!!!!! Balloons!!!!!!!!

Then the party started and I got to hang out with my friends.

Mommy and Daddy made me a cake.

And everyone sang to me.

Can I eat Winnie?

I think I like it!

Here Papa...it's really good!

After cake, I played some more.

What a great day! I love being 1!

XOXO, Ryanne

Monkey Business

Sorry for the delay in sharing these with you, but I've been a little under the weather. Last Thursday (before Halloween), I came home from school with a fever and I was home until Tuesday. I went to school Tuesday and half of Wed when my Daddy had to come pick me up because I was sick again. I had to go see the doctor 3 times in a week! Thankfully, I'm all better now and I'm getting ready for the big event coming up on Saturday!
So anyway, here are a few pictures from Halloween. I was not very cooperative with picture taking because I was hot and not feeling well. I was also mad that I couldn't go out trick-or-treating, but I had fun watching all the kids who came to the door.
I practiced my trick-or-treating skills with Mommy's trick-or-treat pumpkin.
True, I am a drama queen and I was also a drooling queen because of a sore throat that day.
I had fun with Nana and Papa.

Until next time, when I'll be a one year old!!!

Love, Ryanne
