Goodbye to March...

Let me begin by welcoming my new friend, Kierstin Ann, to the world. I can't wait to meet you and I just know we are going to be great friends!

It's been a pretty quiet week around here. I have a little cold, but otherwise not much to report.

I've been practicing my eating. This week I tried sweet potatoes...

and celery (I don't really eat it...Mommy just lets me chew on it)...

and my feet!

My bangs are getting long so Mommy did my hair for me today...

I think I like it.

Almost time for dinner, maybe I'll snack on these until it's ready...

Over the River and Through the Woods...

to Nana and Papa's house in Pennsylvania we went last weekend, which is why it has taken me so long to update....and I have a lot to tell you. We'll start with my new stats. I went for my 4 month check up last friday before the long car ride. Dr. Lee was very pleased with my progress and developmental skills. I heard her telling mommy and daddy that they should start letting me 'cry it out' at night rather than getting up to feed me...I don't think I like that idea and I have been letting them know that each and every night (it might take awhile, but I eventually win). I am now...

24 inches...50% percentile

12 pounds 10 ounces...25 % percentile

16 inches head circumference...25% percentile

I dropped off my curve for height and weight a little bit, but Dr. Lee is not worried at all.

I also got to start eating rice cereal!! I like it, but it sure is hard work and I get frustrated when I'm hungry. One of these days I'll get the hang of it.

Uncle Chris brought me a cool new toy...
and a new hat. It's a Phillies hat (Mommy and Daddy said that's the ONLY Philadelphia team I can support and only because Uncle Chris is such a fan)

I got to meet my mommy's cousin Lauren. Thanks for sending the great picture to put on my blog!

I spent a lot of time playing with my uncles. I don't know who entertained who more.
When we got home, I tried out my high chair...it's still a little big, but I love it. I like to sit in the high chair at daycare too.

Tuesday was St Patrick's Day... I got all dressed up for the day thanks to my godmommy Katy and the crown I made in daycare.

More practice eating in the bumbo. It was fun tonight because mommy let me help. It was bathtime right after dinner.

and I almost forgot the most important event of the 2 weeks...I turned 4 months old!!!

Snow Day

Finally!!! They say major snow storm and something happens! Only about 5 or 6 inches, but enough for school to be cancelled which meant a snow day for Mommy too. I'm still not sure what to think of it all....especially the pink snow suit.

This what it looked like when I got up in the morning...so pretty!

Venturing out in the snow for the first time. It sure is cold, so it's a good thing I'm all bundled up. I can't move, but I'm warm.

Another Busy Week

I'm starting to get the hang of this school thing. I really do like it. I like to play with my friends and my teachers are great. Everyone loves me and takes good care of me there. In the mornings, I am Ms. Jeanette's big helper to get things done before the other babies arrive. Poor Mommy is still not having as much fun being at work, but I keep telling her it will be ok.

Last weekend was busy too. Nana and Papa came to visit, my future Godmommy Katy visited and Saturday I went to my first baby shower. It was so much fun. Enjoy the new pictures!

I'm really getting good at tummy time and holding my head up. I'm so close to rolling over on my own!

Trying out my old bed where my animals sleep now. Umm...can someone help me get out of here? I don't think I like this too much.

Another Saturday, another dressy outfit, but this weekend I had somewhere to go!

There are many uses for a cloth diaper...burp cloth, peek-a-boo, Flying Nun costume...the possibilities are endless.
